Wedding GlossyBox, I DO!
Here is what came in the infamous Glossybox Limited Edition Wedding Box:
Biolage ExquisiteOil Replenishing Treatment
I received a sample of this in a Glossybox about a year ago. I absolutely love it. It has a very light scent and works great. I have fine hair and this does not leave it looking or feeling oily. But a little goes a long way, so don’t overdo it! It has a moringa oil blend and can be used during any stage of your hair process (during conditioning, styling, etc.) It is intended for all hair types. It has exceptional online reviews and everyone seems to agree that it is much better than your average hair oil. This big bottle will last a long time and my hair should be in great shape by the wedding!
Bellapierre Cosmetic Volumizing Mascara
Really beautiful packaging. This is a long-lasting mascara that is supposed to help make your lashes look thicker and fuller. I haven’t tried it yet because I am finishing up my current mascara right now, but am excited to try this out and see if it makes the wedding makeup set.
This is a huge bottle of an exfoliating face peel and soothing, moisturizing wash in one. It has olive oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, gotu kola extract, and more to help soothe and exfoliate the skin in one. It is also a facial milk with natural peeling particles from the acai palm tree fruit. This is SO perfect for preparing my face for wedding makeup and the ingredient list is really impressive.
This smells good, but odd…kinda reminds me of Fruity Pebbles cereal. It has a mousse consistency and there are teeny tiny little exfoliating beads that burst on the skin. There is nothing at all abrasive or irritating about this and it may be my new favorite exfoliator/peel. There were no directions on the box/online so I use a gentle circular motion for about 30 seconds on my face and neck. I also LOVE the bottle itself and the pump top.
Beautybird Yes, I Do! Nail Polish
This packaging is adorable. So wedding themed and I will proudly wear it to any wedding. It is the perfect shade of pale pink for any wedding (even my own). You can wear one coat for a sheer look or layer it for a deeper shade of pink. I used it to create an ombre effect with my nails, which you can see here!
This is an eye shadow and liner in one. The eye shadow and applicator are on one side, while the eye liner is on the other side. This is a gorgeous gold pen and the bronze color is perfect for me! I will get a ton of use out of this.
These are for liquid foundation, powder, and cream blush (you could also use them for BB or CC cream). It has a more narrow shape on the end to make it easier to get around the eyes and nose. These are really soft, quality sponges.
These are cute. You are supposed to wear them on the front of your pumps. These would also make a cute side bow in the hair. Although, you have to be careful with these or they can look childish. While they are cute, I can’t imagine myself ever actually wearing them.
The PackagingThis box could not have been any cuter. From the pink lacey tissue paper and wedding box to the fake rose petals inside, I truly felt like I was opening a wedding gift. So cute. I will definitely keep this box for as long as it holds up.
I really liked this box, but was surprised to find that I only recognized one brand. I did love the nail polish and the fact that the box overall was very wedding themed. I plan on keeping the box itself to save wedding keepsakes and mementos in. Everytime I use the products in this box, I will think about my upcoming wedding and that makes me very happy
